Your 2025 Cottage Favorites: A Year in Review

Cottage Favorites

December 20, 2025

You know how Spotify Wrapped comes out at the end of the year and suddenly you’re reminded of all the songs that soundtracked your life? I’ve been thinking about that concept, but for design. This year, I’ve watched you all create beautiful spaces, make thoughtful purchases, and discover pieces that transformed your homes. So I thought I’d share our own version—a look back at your most-loved pieces from 2025.

These aren’t just products that looked good in a mood board. These are the items you actually purchased, the ones that showed up in your DMs with excited updates, and the pieces you told me made your spaces feel complete. Your favorites became my favorites, and I loved watching these finds land in homes all over.

Furniture & Accents: Your Top Picks

This year, you gravitated toward pieces that balance comfort with character—furniture that looks beautiful but actually invites you to sit, stay, and live in it.

The Upholstered Bench with Fringe: This one flew off the shelves. So many of you messaged me photos of it styled at the foot of your beds, in entryways, or tucked under windows. You loved the metal frame for its structure and the fringe detailing for that unexpected softness. It’s clearly one of those versatile pieces that earns its place in a home.

The Powder Blue Sofa: The number of you who took the leap on this color made my heart so happy. You told me it became the statement piece that makes you smile every time you walk into the room. The soft blue, classic silhouette, and those turned legs kept showing up in your home tours, and it never looked out of place.

The Charcoal Linen Chair: You couldn’t get enough of this one. The dark linen, the perfect arm proportions, and especially that fringe trim had so many of you saying “yes” without hesitation. Several of you told me it was the piece that finally made your living room feel complete—moody without being heavy.

The Vintage-Inspired Rug: This was hands down one of your most-purchased items this year. The rust and blue tones, the worn-in look, the traditional pattern—you loved how it instantly brought warmth and character into your spaces. So many of you said it made your rooms feel collected rather than decorated, which is exactly the vibe we love.

Kitchen Hardware & Faucet: Your Go-To Choices

When it came to kitchen updates, you leaned into finishes that feel both classic and special. These were your top picks.

Unlacquered Brass Hardware: This was the overwhelming favorite for so many of your kitchen renovations. You loved the warmth brass brings to cabinetry, and several of you told me you’re excited to watch it develop a patina over time. Whether you chose simple pulls, round knobs, or latches with visible screws, brass added instant character to your kitchens.

The Bridge Faucet in Polished Chrome: This faucet showed up in so many of your kitchen reveals this year. You told me the bridge style felt traditional without being fussy, and the polished chrome gave you that clean, crisp look that works with both modern farmhouse and classic cottage aesthetics. Multiple followers said it was the one choice that felt right immediately—and they know will still feel right years from now.

Why Your Choices Matter

What I love most about your top picks is that none of them are trendy. You didn’t gravitate toward what’s “in” right now—you chose pieces rooted in quality, thoughtful design, and timeless aesthetics. That tells me you’re thinking long-term, choosing things that will still feel special in a decade.

These pieces you loved passed the test. They’re the ones you kept coming back to, the ones that made your rooms feel complete, and the ones you’re proud to have in your homes. Watching you invest in quality over quantity has been one of my favorite things about this community.

Looking Ahead

As we move into a new year, I’m excited to see what pieces you discover and fall in love with next. But for now, I’m grateful that we got to create beautiful, thoughtful spaces together in 2025. Your homes—and your trust in these recommendations—mean everything.

Thank you for letting me be part of your design journey this year. Here’s to another year of making our homes feel more like us.
